From June 3. – 8. 2013 Wakeboard Centre Cable Krk, on the island Krk in the bay of Punat, is hosting the Luminox Krk Handi Wake- international IWWF *** wakeboard and wakeskate competition for Junior and Open categories, and the most important Seated category for disabled riders.
The traditional Krk Handi Tricks – wakeboard school and competition for disabled, hosted every June since 2004, and this year for the first time welcomes all wakeboarders and wakeskaters to take part. The event started on Monday, 3. June, with all-week trainings for disabled riders. Official training and the qualifying rounds will be on Friday, 7. June in the afternoon, and the finals in all categories on Saturday, 8. June 2013.
DJ Preddy from Austria will be taking care of the music selection during the event and at the after party, spinning the best of hip hop, funk and reggae.
With good music, goes creative art, special guest Mr. Woodland will surprise everyone with his vision of graffiti art, which will be spanned across 30x3m.
The event organizers are the Croatian Waterski Federation, Wakeboard club Krk and Balance, a non profit organization from Rijeka. The goal of this project is the affiliation of people with disabilities, wakeboarders, wakeskaters, graffiti artists and all other admirers of music, fashion and this whole lifestyle which makes this event a unique weekend of sports and entertainment.
